Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American singer and actor. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Bell was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She is of Polish (mother's) and German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen realized her potential in the world of entertainment in her early years. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell's mother established her with an agent before she was thirteen, and she was cast in television advertisements for newspapers and commercials. Now, Bell also begins individual acting classes. Bell was a character who did not have a credit on Polish Wedding (1998), the film that was released in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. Bell was chosen to play the lead role as Dorothy in the school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. After graduation Bell moved to New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and learned about musical theatre. Bell completed her studies in 2001, left her college studies in order to take on in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the scene where she made an appearance was cut. In the end, the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell appeared alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
