Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer gained fame as an actress, singer of country music and songwriter, when she was a character in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the last four seasons. The series featured her first release as a country artist which helped her debut album in the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Her follow-up Thirty One in 2015 Thirty One reached the Top Ten. She finished out the decade with appearances for Dancing with the Stars and on several television shows, as well as a series of non-album singles. In 2021, the self-doubting Voices was released. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised by country music. While she was pursuing a recording and acting career, her debut on screen took place in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) while still in high school. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy as well as the Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach #3 at the top of the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stint on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. That same year, the song Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser was a big adult contemporary hit.
